Hada Labo Mask

So, this is one is from one of the premier beauty brands in Japan.  Unfortunately, I have sensitive skin.  This mask stung a bit.  It says to pat the left over "potion" into your face, but it bothered me enough that I rinsed my face.

Sadly, now I am breaking out all over the place.

Because of my sensitive skin, I do not really know if it is just me.  The brand is obviously popular and I doubt that it would be if this happened often.  So, while it is not for me, it could work out wonderfully for someone else.

I received this for free in a #VoxBox from #Influenster for the purposes of reviewing the product.

ATTITUDE Shampoo

ATTITUDE shampoo:  This is marketed as an environmentally safe shampoo and this one specifically was meant to be colour protecting.  However, one wash took out most of the Kelly green colour in my hair.

I am not using Manic Panic or similar, which is out in four washes.  I used Pravana, which tends to last about twelve without touch ups.  I had the reasonable expectation of staying green for another three weeks at least.

ATTITUDE is presented as "clean" choice.  Most ingredients seem fine, although it does contain sodium coco sulfate and sulfates are not your hair dye's friend. That being said, my hair is squeaky clean.  If I did not dye my hair, I think this might not be a bad choice for when my hair is seriously dirty.

I would not use it daily, or even weekly (my preferred washing schedule).  My hair feels a bit dry now and although my scalp feels fine, I think that repeated use would change that.

Do keep in mind, I do not have standard Euro-Centric hair.  Pale as I may be, my hair is thick, a bit coarse and with natural oils that runs towards waxy.  It is a bit odd.  Individual results may vary.

Ps. The scent is very light and since I have a sensitive nose, that was another plus.

I received this product for free to review.

Influenster Vox Box

I got an +Influenster box yesterday.  I have been signed up for some time, but never gotten a box before.  I suppose it is not a surprise that when I finally did, it was the #NurtureVoxBox  .

Pretty much everything is something I am either willing to try myself or in the case of the motion sickness medicine (Which is natural with ginger), I will be willing to let the children try. (I got motion sickness in cars and trains when I was a child so I know they will grow out of it, oddly in both of our cases, never sick on boats.)

Today I am going to try the ATTITUDE shampoo and I will try to post a review today or tomorrow.

Pink

You may find this difficult to believe, but I have never liked the colour pink. Well, except for a short period during the eighties when I liked Hot Pink, but it was the eighties you see and practically everyone loved that colour then. Oh and also the singer, but that really doesn't count because Pink kicks ass.

Increasingly though, I find that pink often catches my eye.  A specific shade, being somewhat surprising to me.  A baby pink you might say, a soft rose, evoking thoughts of cotton candy if you will.

I still do not like the obnoxious colour that designers are fond of putting on girls clothes that reminds one of a digestive aid, but this ring is pretty spot on.

I do not work for Skullis.com  But I can see that I would like to shop there.
